The Sandwich Generation–Caring for the Caregivers

In addition to the tag “baby-boomers” we are also referred to as the sandwich generation. Your parents are older now and require much of your attention. They need to go shopping, to the doctor, the pharmacy–the list goes on and on.

Another tag that has attached itself to our generation is “boomerang” children. Our offspring are coming home in record numbers. Perhaps because of the economy, a broken relationship, or simply because they couldn’t maintain the lifestyle we provided. More mouths to feed, and more of your attention required, causing another financial and emotional strain.

Add to the mix, grandchildren, your job, your friends and it feels as if you are being pulled in too many directions. Your head is spinning.

Who takes care of you? Are your personal and emotional needs being met? You want time for yourself but feel selfish asking for it. When will it end?

To find out how important it is for you to take care of yourself read the following brochures.
